There are so many special functions
when the average high street shop can't supply that individually
styled and more or less unique outfit.

Civil ceremonies, Garden parties, Proms,
Regattas, Christenings, Evening wear, Royal Ascot, Honeymoons, Barmitzvas, Cocktail dresses etc.
The list is endless really.
Apart from our
usually good selection of outfits, fashions and costumes etc there
are hundreds out there that we have access to and can buy in
specially for you. The delightful outfits from the Zeila and Carla
Ruiz collections are an example
of this. We keep a specially chosen selection in the shop but can
order the other pieces as needed.
They have
several labels each designed for a particular market. Not only do
they have wonderful outfits for mother of the bride and groom but
they also do a comprehensive collection of stylish fashions
for evening wear and other events where you need to look really good
without going over the top.

A word of caution: To avoid a
clash of outfits it's generally better to avoid those fashions bought from high
street multiples or large department stores, which of course excludes
the independent retailers who take care to choose the same sort of
fashions. In particular we have found that the
following labels could pose a problem: Planet, Jacques Vert, Betty
Barclay, Country Casuals, Autonomy, Roman, Liz Claiborne, Jasper Conran, Bianca, Feraud, Berketex, Eastex,
Monsoon, Max
Mara etc. August Silk, Godske, Whimsey, Lady G can be found in outlet centres available to
everyone who think they are getting something exclusive. We have nothing but admiration for the
quality of these labels but they are really all too available to
everyone, are often the outfits chosen by the wedding guests, and to be honest the outfits we
and other independents offer in the same quality
bracket are generally much better priced and are certainly much more
individual.
Remember that the major high street multiples, (the ones
on every high street) cater for the
mass market, the clone who doesn't mind being one of thousands all
wearing the same fashions. If you don't want to be the same and if you really do care about keeping safe, then perhaps
you should visit other independent shops if you cannot get to our own
shop or don't want to deal with us at a distance. |

Fashions for special occasionsYou have a really special occasion to attend or you want to impress. You really must look a million dollars and feel great. Look no further. Special occasion outfits are our speciality.
We have supplied several outfits for guests of Her Majesty at one of her Garden Parties and special receptions. Each one was chosen for its individuality. Imagine bumping into another guest wearing the same outfit bought from a high street department store or boutique in any situation like that. The same goes for wedding guests seeking something really nice that also has a very good chance of being a one-off at the event. Outfits for cruises have featured largely in our customers requests, both as relaxing and smart day wear and for the seat at the captains table or the evening ball. Of course a day at the races is made all that more special by putting on the style too especially in one of our superbly styled hats. Of course you simply cannot go to Royal Ascot without one but they are equally as fashionable at all racing events. We have a superb selection from most leading designers including some more recently introduced to the UK. as well as our favourites from Michael H, Kate Fearnley, Kate Cooper, Gina Bacconi and Shubette, Libra etc. Of course it wouldn't be the same without a hat and we have over 200 to choose from, most of which can be hired for the day. The range of outfits from the exquisite Montage Occasions collection are just wonderful; so modern and gorgeous for all occasions They are made from absolutely gorgeous silk and are full of colour, style and imagination. Drop in here to see some of them. We do keep some stock but the collection(s) are enormous so we do a lot of re-orders too for specific requests . We have just taken out first order of Nati Jimenez and this collection is both stylish and low cost for those on a tighter budget. Other superb Spanish designer collections from Zeila and Carla Ruiz are better know to us and have been well accepted by those needing individuality and a lower price point. The outfits shown on this page are representative of some of the styles we have in stock as we just cannot show every outfit for reason of space.
