Lynnzer Productions This is a quick introduction to my website creation programme specifically for fashion retailers Increasingly the internet is the prime driver of business to shops who offer a specialist service, predominantly to those people who don't where to start looking or need other ideas. As most shops of this nature are often off the beaten track away from the high streets of our major towns you cannot help feeling out on a limb. You may rely on word of mouth, advertising in the local press and attending wedding fairs or other promotional events. You may even have a website right now that isn't up to scratch or is difficult to update, or it may even be a website that has been developed by someone else but is expensive to maintain by them. I have found that most shops have a website developed by someone who has no experience whatsoever of the fashion market. They make a website, chuck it out into the great yonder and you may be getting very little feedback from it as time goes by. If you need new pictures you might have to pay to get them put on, as with new text or other site alterations. The developer is usually devoid of ideas for pictures, descriptions of outfits and often don't know even know the names of the actual designers or fashion houses you buy from. This is a definite block to business. Without personal knowledge of your suppliers, your customer base etc they cannot give you the service you need. That's why I have become involved in the development of websites for fashion retailers such as you. I have a pretty good knowledge of the market and I am able to build a site specifically for you using your supplier details such as current fashion pictures, styles , trends and forthcoming collections. I believe this will give you an advantage over other shops who have little more than a shop front showing on the home-page with little up to date information on it. Although my personal skills are a limited to the use of normal HTML site creation this has not proved to be any problem and in fact is more easily indexed by some search engines who cannot index sites made from other formats such as Flash. A site made up from HTML language is one that is also easily altered and updated or even taken over by the shopkeeper and managed by them if the need arises. To give you an idea of the potential, the website for Norma & June Fashions gets around 1 million hits a year. In the first year from being indexed in first position on Google, the turnover went up by 35%. |

My experience in website creation has
been one I learned the hard way. My first website, that of
Norma & June Fashions Ltd
became a necessity when a retail
outlet opened in nearby Murton. As you all know, these places generally
stuff themselves with shops selling ladies fashions. My experience of
these places is that they generally offer fashions that are no better
than what the normal shops stock and are no better in price either.
However there is a perception that they are offering good quality at
discounted and giveaway prices. If only........ So I knocked up a website without any personal knowledge and threw it out into the t'internet. For 2 years we struggled to get below page 27 on a search. So after scratching my head for a while I did a lot of learning on website promotion. As a result I fiddled around with the website and sent it back out. The next week the site was positioned in first place on the first page of a Google search for most keywords associated with the shop's activity. I don't make any payment for it either as do a lot of sites in first position. The newly indexed and ranked site resulted in a phenomenal amount of traffic coming the way of the shop that would definitely not have come to it, from as far away as Atlanta in the USA, various places in Australia etc as well as visitors from far flung towns in the UK and Ireland. I offer a website creation service that is based on results. Apart from initial setting up fees the overall basis of further payments is dependant on the popularity of the site itself. If I don't drive much traffic to your site then I get little reward from it. If I get a lot of people visiting your site, which should give a consequential increase in business I get a bigger reward personally. Thus it's in my best interest to get your site working as best as I can for you. All you have to do is contact me and I'll be happy to discuss your needs email-me from here with your personal needs |
I am currently developing a
new site for
The House of Elliot
in Huddersfield. This is done in the same style as I use for that of Norma & June Fashions and the one that has become popular by virtue of Google's recognition of the way it has been built and the careful use of keywords etc. Each site is entirely open to the creation of new pages on it entirely without charge. Each site is also maintained free and updated with new pictures as and when they become available. The more pictures, the more hits you'll get. The more text, the more there is to index by search engines. Just give me all you can get. |
